About the Role

Bloomberg Associates seeks a project management fellow based in New York between March to April to provide project management support to the Municipal Integrity and Transparency team as it advances client deliverables across 24 domestic and international projects.

What You're Gonna Do

- Manage and execute complex integrity projects from initial engagement to completion, serving as the primary point of contact between the internal team and the client to ensure all deliverables and components are on track and within scope; - Monitor projects on an ongoing basis, evaluating and reporting progress and quality of work, managing issue resolution and taking corrective action when necessary; - Draft and prepare written materials for internal and external audiences with quick turnaround such as Power Point presentations, memos, talking points, social media posts or web content, white papers, and summary reports; - Engage in advanced study and independent research for the Municipal Integrity and Transparency team, and broadly construed to current client engagements, with respect to government, public policy and social policy; - Organize and disseminate research finding throughout the team.

About You

- An undergraduate degree or graduate with demonstrated academic successes - 2-5 years of internship/professional experience - Experience working in the legal industry - Experience working in city, state or national governments - Experience/familiarity engaging in topics that uniquely arise in urban environments, including municipal integrity and/or anti-corruption work - Experience analyzing urban operational mechanisms, such as procurement, MBE, infrastructure, Earned Income Tax Credit, census and/or expungement - Strong research, writing and editing skills and a track record of producing high-quality papers appropriate for and commensurate with career level - Experience conducting independent research - Outstanding written and oral presentation abilities and presentation development capabilities - Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills including a willingness to learn new topics quickly - High levels of organization and attention to detail - Ability to collaborate effectively with others and build effective partnerships - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Arc GIS, data analysis and visualization software - Spanish and/or Italian fluency
