About the Role

Everything is urban. Cities are growing and evolving, becoming more influential and requiring integrated thinking around how they expand. Jacobs is seeking an experienced Urban Designer to join it’s growing team in London. Our strategy considers how we can shape regions and cities holistically as well as set the agenda to create better urban environments. The Cities team is a new studio created within Jacobs, integrating strategic design-led thinking with the company's multi-disciplinary background. Working with private and public sectors in the UK and internationally, the team are examining how new housing and jobs, place making, health and well-being should be linked to infrastructure opportunities, bringing a new direction to Jacobs' outlook in Europe and creating an impetus for our cities to thrive. At Jacobs, we'll inspire and empower you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed – today and into tomorrow. With more than 55,000 people in 40+ countries, working at Jacobs offers an exciting range of opportunities to develop your career within a supportive and diverse team who always strive to do the right thing for our people, clients and communities.

We have a number of opportunities of differing scales in Europe, North America and the Middle East.
