About the Role

PJA is looking to recruit a consultant to work primarily in our London office as part of our placemaking team. The ideal candidate will be passionate, creative and sustainably minded with street design, traffic engineering, and urban planning experience. They would be supporting other members of PJA’s placemaking team in various roles with both public and private sector clients. Key responsibilities would include concept design, spatial analysis, graphic design, report writing, and stakeholder engagement.

About You

The applicant should have a minimum two years experience and be able to demonstrate: - Proficient in use of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp - Strong graphic design skills inc. hand drawing, sketching & CAD/graphics - Experience of community engagement and co-design - Knowledge and experience of applying design guidance, including Manual for Streets - Experience of GIS software packages and presentation techniques - Urban design or relevant degree (ideally with MA in Urban Design or equivalent)
