For the job as a Project Leader for Urban farming you need the ability to keep track on a broad number of activities and work independently. Therefore, we think that you are good in structuring and organizing. Setting up time plans and keeping them are part of your DNA. Working with strategic tasks as well as keeping track of both details and administration is also something you enjoy. You are result driven and good in making things happen – with a strong business mind. This position is for you who love learning new things and areas, especially technology. This specific project requires the ability to pick up new information and get a grip of a new technology area.

What You're Gonna Do

As a Project Leader for Urban Farming you will lead the entire project end-to end and will be accountable for project delivery. We are looking for 3 Project Leaders to help us run global tests and pilots within urban farming on store and off store sites. The tests and pilots will be in Sweden, Belgium, Canada, China and Japan. Amongst many tasks as a Project Leader you will: - work with the project planning - establish and follow timetables - do project documentation in terms of Project description, Project plan, Inter-mediate reports, Final Business/Deployment case - communicate between all parties involved, setting up and reporting from project team meetings on local store level, country level and global level and steering group meetings - keep control of project budget - ensure the setting up, follow-up and report on KPI/deliverables - set up communication/marketing plan for the test and following global deployment The projects start May 1st, 2020 and ends August 31st, 2021 (16 months). You will be in Malmö, Sweden.

About You

To succeed as a Senior Project Leader, Urban farming you need: - Insights in IKEA way of working an IKEA experience (preferred) - Knowledge about food and sustainability (preferred) - Min. of 4-7 years of experience from working as a project leader Please note that for this project we need experience outside of PPS and IT project since it is very different from IT projects. Finally, you always have the IKEA culture and values at heart and are led by them in your daily work.
