About the Programme

IdeasCity Singapore welcomes applications for its Residency Program and proposals for Public Program collaboration through an Open Call. Candidates will be selected based on motivation, interest, and availability, on a rolling basis until Midnight EST December 9, 2019. There are two avenues of participation for IdeasCity: **A. Residency Fellow** Interested in joining IdeasCity Singapore as a full time Residency Program Fellow from February 15–23? Residency Fellows will spend the length of IdeasCity furthering independent research and projects that respond to the theme of solidarity with nature. Successful applicants do not need to apply with completed work, but should elaborate how their current interests and practices might benefit from the context of learning from and within Singaporean and Southeast Asian knowledge networks. Throughout the Residency, Fellows will also participate in a series of workshops, site visits, activations, and collaborative exercises with experts and community leaders. The opportunity will exist, for those interested, to present their work to the public at the end of the residency. The Residency is a full-time commitment in Singapore from February 15-23, 2020. All meals, as well as an honorarium of $500 USD will be provided to all Fellows. Fellows traveling to Singapore will receive lodging. Travel expenses and coordination will not be covered by IdeasCity. **B. Public Program Facilitator** Interested in leading a workshop or presenting your work as a Public Program Facilitator in Singapore? Public Program Facilitators will interact with IdeasCity Fellows and/or the general public at specific times throughout the week of IdeasCity Singapore. Facilitations will engage audiences in questions related to the program’s theme of solidarity with nature and can take any form, (eg. walking tour, film screenings, drawing workshop, roundtable conversation). Successful Facilitators will collaborate with the IdeasCity team to coordinate and produce these events. Facilitators will receive a stipend of $200 USD, along with a production budget. Travel expenses will not be covered by IdeasCity.
