About the Event
After a one-year break, when PCDC was held solely online, guests from city organizations and private studios from around the world will once again gather in Prague and share their recent experiences and projects.
We will welcome city councilors involved in digitization from around the world, such as Ville Meloni, head of the Helsinki department for digitization, or Maarten Sukel, who is focusing on artificial intelligence in the Amsterdam City Hall.
The conference will also be highlighted by the attendance of representatives from studios such as Dataveyes (FR), Subdigital (SK) or Falon Land (US), or independent data experts such as Rodrigo Menegat (BR) or Nathan Coyle (UK).
This year we are also introducing a debate called “Cities Talk”, where representatives of European cities of Leuven, Paris, Budapest, and Prague will have an opportunity to discuss current issues.
A key part of the event will be workshops led by experts who will share their practical experiences.
Caroline Goulard will lead a workshop on using data from the mobility sector for better urban planning and decision-making. This workshop is suited for an international audience.
Nathan Coyle will acquaint participants with the problems created by language in open data discussion and together with them develop our own policy driver document for right here in Prague.
Pau Garcia will then introduce participants to the world of interactive data visualization. This workshop will be held only offline.
There are separate registrations for each individual workshop. Find them in our program and secure your spot!
We are happy to welcome city planners, urbanists, policymakers, architects, designers, programmers, and all those at the intersection of urban, tech, and social dimensions.
