About the Event

The theme for ICUH 2022 is Growing Our Global Community. Driving Action. Ensuring Equity.  During this year’s conference, we aim to: - Expand participation to include all global stakeholders making decisions in cities that impact health, across all disciplines, engaged in research, policy and practice. Spotlight the intersection of urban health and other global agendas, such as planetary health and sustainable development.  - Accelerate the translation of urban health research and knowledge into practice and action. Explore new, innovative models for the engagement and empowerment of communities on the ground.  - Prioritize recognizing disparities and improving equity for all urban residents.  ICUH 2022 will be held in-person in partnership with the City of Valencia and the University of Valencia. In order to maximize accessibility, will are pleased to also offer select sessions virtually. The program will include dynamic presentations, practice-oriented discussions, interactive workshops, special exhibiti ons and site visits to local projects. About Us

The International Society for Urban Health (ISUH) is the only global non-governmental organization solely focused on advancing urban health and health equity by addressing the broader determinants of health. Through its annual global conference and program activities, the ISUH serves as a platform for interdisciplinary academic researchers and educators, practitioners and policymakers from multiple sectors in government and the private sector – NGOs and businesses to learn from each other and advance evidence and action that improves urban health.
