The South African Cities Network assists and guides cities to become effective drivers of local and national development. It also encourages cities to manage the ever-increasing population growth and expansion of services it has to provide.
The network also aims to enable cities and SACN partners to exchange information, experience and best practices on urban development and city management.
SACN is guided by the values of knowledge in action, shared learning, partnership, innovation and retain a positive image of the local government sector.
Our cities would be nothing without the people and businesses that contribute to its rich diversity, potential and economy. Join us in our goal to establish South Africa’s key metropolises as effective drivers of local and national development and to improve the impact of SACN’s knowledge products through communicating information to the correct stakeholders and by the appropriate channels.
