A community is more than just apartments. That’s why we’re so proud of our beautiful community spaces, including a playground and garden, which offers space for our residents to gather, get some fresh air, and enjoy time outdoors at Melrose North in the South Bronx. JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking's construction loans and equity financing are absolutely vital for making supportive and affordable housing projects like Melrose North a reality. https://lnkd.in/dui8MUSk

Chronic pain is not simply comprised of physical discomfort, it’s rather complex and multifaceted challenges influenced by physiological, emotional, and psychosocial factors. Through clinical discernment and integrating behavioral health principles into individualized needs, we can find success in how we approach chronic pain, allowing an opportunity for chronic pain to diminish and give way to the re-emergence of a more abundant sense of self. Ethical leadership is an essential aspect of any organization, fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and fairness. By ensuring that decisions are made for the common good, ethical leadership enhances trust and accountability within organizations. This, in turn, is crucial for sustainable success and a competitive advantage. As leaders, it is our responsibility to set an example by demonstrating ethical behavior and creating an environment that promotes it. By doing so, we create a positive impact not just within our organizations but also in society at large. The very essence of Services for the UnderServed. #Integrity #Accountability #SustainableSuccess #CompetitiveAdvantage

In honor of Spring Recess, today at Services for the UnderServed Melrose North, we hosted a Breakfast With Staff event so that we could connect with our singles and families over food, music, and laughter. We had an awesome turnout of over 30 consumers in our community space! As always, a special thanks to our Family-Life Specialist as she never FAILS to amaze me; I never have to micromanage event coordination, I just have to show up and serve! I'm so happy to have a team like the one that I have! Great things are happening at Melrose. #servicesfortheunderserved #connection #breakfast #event #NYCHumanServices

If you live in one of America’s cities, you probably see people experiencing homelessness all the time. You might pass them on your way to work. Maybe you avoid eye contact. If they ask you for money, maybe you pretend you didn’t hear, and walk on by. But what if you stopped and listened to what they have to say?
