Looking back on last week's Meeting in Bolzano & Merano! ☀ Our project partners and City Practice Lab (CiPeL) representatives got together to engage in three days of activities, updates and collaborative sessions, in the context of our 5️⃣th PROJECT MEETING and 3️⃣rd COLLABORATIVE CIPEL WORKSHOP.   🌿 We were hosted by Eurac Research and received by the Mayor of Bolzano, Renzo Caramaschi, as well as by Council Member Chiara Rabini. 📢 We had updates and insights from all of the Work Package teams, sessions reflecting on JUST Nature's key exploitable results (#KER) and several discussions regarding present and upcoming challenges in the implementation of Nature based Solutions in Gzira, Chania, Leuven, Bolzano & Merano, Szombathely and Munich. 🤝 Prospex Institute vzw and ABUD - Advanced Building & Urban Design moderated the Collaborative Workshop, where CiPeLs had the chance to exchange experiences and participate in the Nature-building Communities’ Workshop. 🌳 Yesterday, during the second day of our workshop, we went to Merano to visit one of our project's pilot sites, the 'Garden for All'. ✏ In the afternoon, Prospex Institute vzw facilitated the second part of our 3rd Collaborative CiPeLs Workshop, where our partners reflected on their implementation timelines and exchanged experiences facing and overcoming the challenges they find along the way of implementing #NaturebasedSolutions in the context of the JUSTNatureProject. ☀ It's been three very inspiring days that reassured and further stimulated our commitment to carrying out Nature based Solutions! 📍 Live from Bolzano, Italy! 💡 Starting today and until April 11th, our project partners have gathered to attend to the 5th Joint Project Meeting, hosted by Eurac Research. 🤝 We were proud to have the Mayor of Bolzano, Renzo Caramaschi, this morning with us. Mr. Caramaschi joined us for a warm welcome and highlighted the relevance and importance of the JUSTNatureProject. We also gladly received Chiara Rabini, a City Council Member and Advisor on topics of Environment and Integration Policies, who gave us an overview of Bolzano's current plans for green surfaces and biodiversity. 🍃 We have three very exciting days ahead of us, packed with knowledge exchange activities, updates from our CiPeLs and site visits in the city! A great success! ✨ Last week, stad Leuven and #LifePact held a #webinar for garden professionals on the topics of climate adaptation and nature based solutions. 🌳 Garden contractors and other professionals working in garden design had the chance to find out more about the JUSTNatureProject, while learning about regulations, guidelines and diverse solutions related to biodiversity conservation, stormwater regulation and climate adaptation. #nbs #naturebasedsolutions #climateadaptation

💧 Last week, in the context of the EU Water Conference "Speeding up to a water resilient Europe”, our partners from stad Leuven presented our pilot site on the Constantin Meunierstraat to conference participants! 💧 It was a great opportunity to introduce the JUSTNatureProject and discuss about the importance of #water and water management as well as #circularity in nature based solutions #nbs.
